Bellevue's hotel and lodging leaders are coming together with the city of Bellevue, city of Redmond, and Visit Bellevue in the formation of a new Tourism Promotion Area (TPA). The new TPA will provide targeted resources to implement the Bellevue destination development plan, enable destination marketing, promotion, sales and new initiatives for our industry.  

Meetings and Conventions are a critical component to Bellevue’s visitor economy. Therefore, we are urging partners and stakeholders to continue messaging the positive and safe aspects of returning to business meetings and events. US Travel Association recently launched the Let’s Meet There campaign and tool kit providing vital resources for our industry.

The United States will reopen in November to air travelers from 33 countries including; China, India, Brazil, most of Europe. Also included is the important re-opening of the Canadian-US land boarder. U.S. restrictions have barred travelers from most of the world including tens of thousands of foreign nationals with relatives or business links in the United States. The welcomed lift in restrictions for travel to the US comes after many other countries have done the same.
