Visit Bellevue Annual Meeting |
Visit Bellevue held its Annual Meeting on March 11th. This year’s event ‘The Road to Recovery,’ was held virtually and the event highlighted an informative keynote presentation from Mac Cummins, City of Bellevue Director of Community Development, who featured Bellevue’s future economic plans highlighted by Tourism & Hospitality. Bellevue Tourism Councils |
Visit Bellevue has established three new Tourism Councils which are key to our future destination programs and we invite you to become active as a council participant. Bellevue Tourism Councils are comprised of individuals, partners, and stakeholders who come together to consult and deliberate to develop ideas, objectives, strategies, and future programs and will meet three (3) to four (4) times annually and provide regular reports, data, and recommendations. Phase Three Reopening |
Effective March 22, Washington State entered phase 3 of recovery reopening. The new phase allows for up to 400 people maximum to attend events and activities (so long as 400 people do not exceed 50% capacity), maintaining physical distancing and masking protocols. This applies to all industries and indoor activities including restaurants, gyms, fitness centers, hotels and movie theaters allowing all to increase their capacity.

Congratulations Wintergrass Music Festival |
Wintergrass Music Festival received a Port of Seattle tourism marketing support grant which provides matching dollars to 23 local communities and non-profit organizations across the state of Washington. Wintergrass will use it to impact targeted markets that attend bluegrass music events.

Downtown Park Expansion |
The City of Bellevue will soon complete a new Bellevue Way entrance to the Downtown Park. The new entrance will create new pedestrian connections while providing better visibility. New features include a plaza, site lighting, an aquatic feature, landscape, and art installations by architectural artist Marc Fornes.

Partner Orientation Meetups |
Starting in early April, Visit Bellevue will hold monthly Partner Orientation Meetups which are designed to educate and inform our partners and stakeholders how to maximize their many complimentary Visit Bellevue benefits and leverage these for their own marketing, sales and visitors experience efforts.
