The Bellevue Collection reopened its food hall on the second floor of Lincoln Square South with five new restaurants Monday.

The food hall first opened in 2018 at 500 Bellevue Way NE before closing in the spring of 2022 for renovations.

The Lincoln Square complex houses shopping, restaurants, 700,000 square feet of office space and W Bellevue and Westin Bellevue hotels. It's part of Kemper Development Co.'s Bellevue Collection, which also includes Bellevue Square mall and Bellevue Place.

“With the return of office workers, it is the right time to open the refreshed space as part of our growing Dining District at The Bellevue Collection,” Jennifer Leavitt, Kemper's vice president of marketing, said in a news release.

Across all of the properties, including more than 50 restaurants, sales are up 40% from the same time last year, a Kemper spokesperson said. Additionally, 10 restaurants have exceeded $10 million in annual sales.

Restaurants new to the food hall include West Coast Tacos, which specializes in street tacos; Seoul Bowl, a Korean barbecue; gluten-free option Wonderbowl, which has rice- or quinoa-based bowls; and bubble tea cafe Drip Tea. Burbs Burgers, from chef Joshua Henderson, is set to open in early July. Dote Coffee Bar has remained open throughout the renovations.

“We are reopening the Lincoln South Food Hall with restaurants that are new to the Bellevue area after establishing popularity in the greater Seattle market," Kemper McQuaid, vice president of leasing, said.

Kemper Development has revamped several of its Bellevue Collection dining spaces in the last year, with openings such as the Water Grill, Farzi Cafe and Cantina Monarca.

Future openings include Din Tai Fung, which is moving to the 17,000-square-foot former Maggiano's Little Italy space; Shake Shack; and a project called Legion.
